THE SOLAR-SYSTEM LOGO
The yellow dot in the middle represents the sun. Our survival and thriving will depend on our ability to rethink our common identity in the wider context of the solar system. The logo invites us to "put the sun in the middle" and to see ourselves as the children of the solar system. This "us" includes our animal and vegetal cousins, and any form of life we may encounter on planets, moons and asteroids.
The blue is that of the skies of our home planet, dear Earth.
It is the logo of us, of all of us.

The Artificial Mythology solar-system logo was recently used for a scientific publication. A study by Gabriel Bihain and Ralf-Dieter Scholz at the Leibniz Institute of Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP) challenges established thinking about brown dwarfs in the solar neighbourhood.
The solar-system logo is at the heart of the Artificial Mythology project.
Based on the "expand to full screen" icon found on media players, it is an invitation to take a step back and look at the big picture, which is the essence
of every mythology ever conjured on our planet.
